Resort Information
Eleven villages are spread across the resort of La Plagne, the lowest, Aime la Plagne at 700m is 20km from the alpine villages of La Plagne. The highest of the alpine villages sits at 2,100m and most villages offer ski to the door accommodation. La Plagne is part of the Paradiski ski area along with Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry, collectively they have a total of 425km groomed runs, 225km of these in La Plagne.
Plagne 1800 was the former mining village for the local lead mines, a resort surrounded by pine trees it is calm, restful and pretty with authentic mountain-style residences and chalets. This family friendly resort has a small beginner ski area and offers easy chair lift access to the whole Paradski ski area via Plagne Centre and Plagne Aime 2000. Plagne 1800 has its own ski schools, hire shops, bars and restaurants.
Plagne Soleil, just across from Plagne Villages, sits at an altitude of 2,050m. The village centre is totally car free. There are bars, restaurants, ski schools, various shops and a ski area for children and beginners in Plagne Soleil. Winter sports enthusiasts will love being able to ski right down to this little of corner of paradise. With its central position, Plagne Soleil is a great base camp for discovering the 425km of runs.
Plagne Bellecôte is the hub of the La Plagne lift systems and offers direct transport links to the different villages, making it a fantastic location to access the whole La Plagne ski area. Additionally, a free shuttle bus service will get you to Plagne centre in a few minutes. Bellecôte is a family friendly resort mainly made up of apartment buildings which boast ski-in, ski-out access to the slopes and children’s’ snow garden. A large shopping centre sits on the ground floor of these buildings, where you will find restaurants and a supermarket. At 3,200m sits the popular Bellecôte glacier which has spectacular views, accessible for free to pedestrians via the Roche de Mio gondola. There are many facilities to be enjoyed in Bellecôte, including the ice-skating rink, the outdoor heated pool and the fitness centre and spa.
Belle Plagne at an altitude of 2,050m has been built in the traditional Savoyard style giving it an authentic mountain village feel. Built on the mountainside and facing south, it is divided into an upper and lower level which are linked by commercial areas. The town centre is where you will find the shops, restaurants, bars and après ski scene. Being a car free resort, it is totally devoted to pedestrians and skiers, which means you are able to fully enjoy mountain life worry free. Getting around on foot is easy too on the network of lifts and covered walkways. Plagne Bellecôte is a short gondola ride, which is free to use for pedestrians.

There are lots of after ski activities for guests of all ages in all the villages of La Plagne:
Deep Nature’s Bains and Spa La Plagne is a 1,500m² spa located in Belle Plagne with exceptional panoramic views. Outdoor spa areas, hot tubs, nordic baths, steam rooms, saunas, salt cave, Norwegian showers and pools. There’s a spa area dedicated to families and another dedicated to adults as well as treatment rooms offering an array of facial and body care treatments.
The ‘Magic Pool’ swimming pool at Plagne Bellecôte with its outdoor pool heated to 30 degrees, jacuzzi and sauna. Aquatic leisure and fitness centre in Montchavin La Plagne has a wellness centre for face and body treatments and massage L’ESPACE OCÉANE. An indoor 70m² spa pool, wellness area with hammam, sauna, jacuzzi and a play area for children.
Skating rinks at Plagne Centre and Plagne Bellecôte plus various luge and toboggan runs throughout La Plagne. Snake Gliss or Snow Snake is a family friendly activity of 5km descent, this departs from Plagne Centre after the slopes close. Showshoe walks, Nordic walks, ski touring, cross-country, skidoos, dog sledging, igloo village, mountain bikes and bowling, wellness centres and spas.

Skiing in La Plagne
La Plagne ski area has 126 slopes, 225km of downhill runs: 9 green, 65 blue, 34 red and 18 black. 99 ski lifts, 1 snowpark, 3 boardercross and 1 half pipe. 80km of cross-country skiing track link the different resorts of La Plagne.
Paradiski ski area (La Plagne, Les Arcs, Peiset-Vallandry) has 233 slopes, 425km of downhill runs: 11 green, 129 blue, 65 red & 37 black. 169 ski lifts, 2 snowparks, 3 boardercross, 2 boardergliss and 1 half pipe. 186km of cross-country circuits.
The Paradiski ski area really is a skiers’ paradise, offering a choice of slopes difficult to find elsewhere in the Alps. From gentle blue runs for first-time skiers to some of the steepest and most difficult ski slopes in France, Paradiski with its 425km of slopes and 18 fun zones, lives up to its name. In just one day you can easily pass from a snow park to skiing on the glaciers or through beautiful forests along tree-lined runs to huge off-piste areas of untouched powder: each to his own. A dream ski area, linking together the ski resorts of La Plagne, Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry each with their own special atmospheres. You can cross the whole ski area on blue runs making it accessible to beginners.
Around 70% of the Paradiski ski area is above 2,000m of altitude thus guaranteeing exceptional snow conditions throughout the winter season. Paradiski can boast about the quality of its facilities such as the Vanoise Express, the largest cable car in the world allowing you to pass from one valley to another in just a few minutes!

The ski area is also has 186km of cross-country runs and 40km of ski touring trails through forests and across beautiful snowy plains, with superb views of the Mont Blanc and the Beaufortain mountains. View the walking, snowshoe and cross-country guide and the ski touring guide.
At Belle Plagne, freestyle skiing fans will appreciate the large snow park, made up of 2 zones, the “Petit Park” for beginners and the “Gros Park” for more experienced riders. The choice of installations is enormous: rails, tables, S, wave, Fun Box, Big Air Bag, half pipe, a professional half pipe as well as a boardercross.

Ski Passes
La Plagne ski area is open from 12 December 2026 to 24 April 2027 and the Paradiski area is open from 12 December 2026 to 17 April 2027. Ski passes are valid for 6 days starting on Sunday and ending on Friday. If you require your ski passes for a shorter/longer duration or to start/end on different days of the week please ask us for an amended price.
Adult: 13-64 years. Children: 5-12 years. Senior: 65-74 years. Proof of age will be required for children’s, senior and free passes.

Proof of age is required for children and seniors.
